Verified I had LeadProbe into the house I recently bought three times (once before and twice after lead remediation). As someone with crippling OCD about chemical contamination AND a literal PhD in chemistry AND a toddler, it is an understatement to say that I am a bit freaked about lead paint. Neil, Dennis, and Norman were amazing. Thorough, thoughtful, great communicators. Clearly so competent and committed to excellence. They answered all of my nitpicky questions patiently and with airtight scientific answers. My abatement journey also had me bring in one of their competitors to my house (long story). LeadProbe was cheaper (both less money AND more sample data AND faster results). And on top of that, the other company made me feel bullied and gave the house a "pass" when LeadProbe's data showed that the house actually failed.Verified They were easy to work with and very knowledgeable. That way I could make the changes, and have the house lead free (and never deal with the annual inspection). Neil was a lifesaver. In the busiest season, he came out the same day. He was okay with using the lock box and doing the inspection, so I saved a trip to Baltimore City. And the report was ready the same day. He was also available to answer all my questions by phone. I'm still impressed how I never had to leave a message and wait for a call back. On a side note: Their prices are VERY reasonable.Verified The owner Neal Roseman is very knowledgeable and honest about both the inspection process as well as the local and state regulations and requirements. His technicians are quick, friendly and efficient. The inspection of my 3 br condo was completed in less than 30 minutes. Would definitely use LeadProbe again for future properties.

After years of using one person for lead paint testing until they retired, I had to find a new company for my properties in Baltimore City. They recommended LeadProbe and did not steer me wrong. I was happy to learn LeadProbe also is approved by Baltimore City to perform the rental housing inspections that are required every two years. LeadProbe was very responsive with communications and helpful at every step of the process, from scheduling inspections, guidance for preparing for inspections, through receiving certificates from the MD Dept of the Environment. The inspector, David, was the consummate professional, arriving on when scheduled, respecting the property and tenants, and completing the inspections quickly with efficiency. I will certainly be contacting them in the future for any lead paint and housing inspections.
